The new addition includes a foyer, accessible washrooms, user-friendly stairs, and a mechanical lift to the upper level. Upstairs, a light-filled gathering space offers views of the surrounding farmland and a connecting door to the sanctuary.

There is now unrestricted access from the paved parking lot to the lower church hall and kitchen in the historic church. The hall has been refreshed with new lights and ceiling. The kitchen has also been upgraded with a platter-ready fridge and a large freezer.

Outside, we have beautiful new landscaping and gardens, with pathways and benches, creating an inviting oasis.

We are absolutely thrilled that our church improvements have been honoured by the City of Hamilton with an “Accessibility in Heritage Award” for 2021, in recognition of our achievement in making our historic building accessible to the wider community
